Terms & Conditions
1. ELIGIBILITY
- Applicants for both Mr Benoni and Miss Benoni must be between the ages of 18 and 25 years old. Applicants who are 17 years of age at the time of entry are also eligible, provided they will turn 18 within the calendar year of their reign.
- Applicants must either live, study, or work on the East Rand.
- Applicants cannot be married.
- Applicants must have no criminal record and must be honest throughout the entire competition process and thereafter. They must also confirm that they have not engaged in any unethical or inappropriate behaviour – such as racism, bribery, sexism, bullying, or defamation – that could damage the reputation of the Organisers or the competition.
- The applicant may not have previously won or held the title of Mr Benoni or Miss Benoni in any previous year.
- The Organisation reserves the right to disqualify any applicant or contestant who, in the Organisation’s sole discretion, does not satisfy the eligibility requirements at any stage of the competition.
2. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & FEES
- The closing date for entries is 7 August 2026.
- Entrants must submit their completed online entry form along with the entry fee of R750.00 before the closing date.
- Paystack payments can be submitted directly via the entry form.
- Entry fees may alternatively be paid via direct EFT to the following account:

- EFT entries will only be confirmed upon clearance in the bank account.
3. SEMI-FINALS
- The Semi-Finals will be held on Saturday, 15 August 2026 at Rampage Modelling Agency, 23 Miles Sharp Street, Rynfield, Benoni, commencing at 13:30.
- All applicants who have submitted a valid entry & fee will be invited to attend the Semi-Finals.
4. FINALIST OBLIGATIONS & SCHEDULE
- All finalists will be notified via WhatsApp by 19 August 2026 if they have progressed to the Finals.
- All finalists will be required to attend two compulsory photoshoots on 29 August 2026 and 6 September 2026.
- All finalists will be required to attend compulsory rehearsals every Monday and Wednesday from 31 August through 23 September 2026, held at Rampage Studio, 23 Miles Sharp Street, Rynfield, Benoni, from 18:00 to 21:00. A final rehearsal will take place on Friday, 25 September 2026 – time TBC.
- All finalists will be required to participate in promotional and charity events on 5, 12, and 19 September 2026.
- Should a finalist proceed through the competition, they may be required to attend and/or support certain objectives as determined by the Mr & Miss Benoni Organisation, including online or in-person attendance at sponsor events and workshops.
5. SPONSORSHIP
- Contestants are not required to find their own sponsor or be responsible for any sponsorship fees. Rampage Modelling Agency will assign each finalist an official sponsor to represent throughout the competition.
- Once a finalist has been assigned an official sponsor and chooses to withdraw from the competition, they will be liable to pay a sponsorship fee of R6,000.00. This fee is non-negotiable and must be settled immediately after withdrawal.
6. CHARITY & COMMUNITY
- All contestants will be required to raise funds and/or donate goods for the designated charity partner. There is no minimum amount – every contribution counts and is greatly appreciated.
- A Debutant Award will be presented to the contestant who raises the most for charity throughout the competition.
- The winners will be required to attend community-related projects, functions, and promotions during their reign, as determined by the Organisation.
7. SOCIAL MEDIA & PUBLIC CONDUCT
- All contestants, from the time of entry through to the conclusion of their potential reign, are expected to conduct themselves with dignity and integrity on all social media platforms and in all public spaces.
- Contestants must not post, share, or engage with content that is defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, politically inflammatory, or otherwise harmful to the reputation of the competition, its sponsors, or the Organisation.
- The Organisation reserves the right to disqualify any contestant whose social media conduct is deemed, in its sole discretion, to be inconsistent with the values of Mr & Miss Benoni.
- Winners are expected to maintain this standard throughout the duration of their reign.
8. APPEARANCE & PRESENTATION
- Applicants are welcome regardless of whether they have tattoos or piercings. There are no restrictions in this regard, and all applicants are judged solely on character, confidence, and presentation.
9. PHOTOGRAPHY, MEDIA & IMAGE RIGHTS
- Finalists agree to have their photographs, name, and likeness used in any promotional material produced by Rampage Modelling Agency or the Mr & Miss Benoni Organisation, including on their respective websites and social media platforms.
- By entering this competition, all contestants consent to their photographs and likeness being used by the Organisation’s official sponsors and partners for promotional and marketing purposes directly related to the competition.
10. FINALS
- The Finals will be held at ANEW Hotel OR Tambo, 1 Country Lane, Lakefield, Benoni on Saturday, 27 September 2026. Finalists are required to arrive by 16:00; the event commences at 18:00.
- Tickets for the Finals are priced at R465.00 (inclusive of booking fee) and are available exclusively at http://www.rampagemodels.co.za.
- Seating is not reserved unless a table of 10 is booked.
- No tickets will be sold at the door. All guests must purchase tickets in advance.
11. PRIZES
- Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, in whole or in part.
12. JUDGES & DECISIONS
- The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding any judging outcome.
- Any attempt by a contestant, family member, or associate to interfere with or influence the judging process will result in immediate disqualification of the contestant concerned.
- Unruly, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour by any contestant or their associates will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
13. LIABILITY
- The Organisers will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during any aspect of the competition, including but not limited to photoshoots, rehearsals, events, or the Finals.
14. GENERAL
- By entering this competition, the entrant accepts all Rules and Regulations set out in this document and agrees that the information provided will be added to the Rampage Modelling Agency and Mr & Miss Benoni database. Entrants may receive updates, news, and communications from time to time.
- The Rules and Regulations are at the discretion of the management of Mr & Miss Benoni and are subject to change without prior notice.
- The Organisation’s interpretation of these Rules and Regulations shall be final and binding in all matters.
