Richard’s photographic journey began at the age of six – a gift quietly handed down by his father, who nurtured in him a keen and lasting interest in the art of capturing the reflection of light.
Through the years they studied, experimented, fumbled, and learned through every mistake – coaxing images from the interplay of projection and reflection, shadow and brilliance.
Today that journey continues. Richard captures the reflection of light to enhance fleeting moments and craft images of enduring beauty – images that hold something true long after the shutter closes.

From nervous contestants stepping in front of the camera for the very first time at the opening photoshoot, to the quiet confidence that radiates from them on stage, and finally to the tears of joy when a crown is placed – Richard’s camera is there at every defining milestone of their journey.
